Anastrozole and fulvestrant combination effective in metastatic breast cancer

The combination of anastrozole and fulvestrant was more effective than anastrozole alone or sequential anastrozole and fulvestrant for the treatment of hormone receptor-positive metastatic breast cancer in postmenopausal women, according to a study in The New England Journal of Medicine.
