Antibiotic prescriptions more common in children on asthma drugs

Children who take an asthma drug are more likely to be prescribed an antibiotic according to a study in Pediatrics. The authors state that focusing efforts to reduce antibiotic use in children treated with asthma drugs could improve reduction in overall antibiotic use in children. Read more.
