Folks, the silence is deafening. Over the last year I have covered multiple topics concerning the healthcare of women through and beyond menopause. Subjects have ranged from painful intercourse to special concerns for the lesbian woman, from hot flashes to hearing and vision defects related to menopause, from extra premature deaths resulting from the unnecessary termination of estrogen therapy after WHI to the dangers of compounded bioidentical products, from cardiovascular disease to osteoporosis, from men and menopause to surgical menopause, and there has been much, much more. But never a comment!
We know the blog is being visited – we can track the number of visits. Of course you can take a horse to water but you can’t make it drink, so while the site is being visited, is it really being read? Is it the subject, is it the approach, or is there another reason?
I don’t care what the comments are, but at least let me know if anybody is really out there. Berate me, criticize my positions or statements, offer your own experience, suggest topics, ask questions, and yes even give me an occasional nod if you approve of some idea.
Of course the simple truth might be that this blog is on the wrong site or considered irrelevant. Probably not the latter because I have been invited to move the blog to another organization, so with regret, this is almost certainly my last communication with you.
Have a great life
