FDA announces import of injectable drugs used in TPN to ease shortage

On May 29, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announces that injectable drugs used in total parenteral nutrition (TPN) will be imported into the U.S. to help ease shortages. The FDA is allowing Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC, to import trace elements and phosphate injection from its Norway plant. Read more.
