FDA approves new spinal cord stimulation system for pain

On May 8, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the Senza spinal cord stimulation (SCS) system to help manage chronic intractable pain of the trunk and/or limbs. The system can reduce pain without paresthesia by providing high frequency stimulation (at 10 KHz) and low stimulation amplitudes. Read more.
