FDA warns companies to stop MRSA claims

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued four warning letters to companies selling over-the-counter drug products, including hand sanitizers, telling them to stop making claims that the products prevent infection from methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) bacteria.
