Initial findings from National Sample Survey of Registered Nurses find more RNs and high workforce participation

The 2008 National Sample Survey of Registered Nurses found the number of RNs increased 5.3% since 2004 to more than 3 million. The workforce is more diverse, and 85% of nurses are practicing—the highest in the history of the survey. Read more at http://bhpr.hrsa.gov/healthworkforce/rnsurvey.
