Lack of sleep increases calorie intake

Researchers at the American Heart Association’s Epidemiology and Prevention/Nutrition, Physical Activity and Metabolism 2012 conference presented a study that showed insufficient sleep increases calorie intake by 549 kcal/day with no corresponding increase in energy expenditure.
