Long ED wait linked to more adverse outcomes

According to a study published online by the British Medical Journal, longer waiting times in the ED are associated with a higher risk of death and hospital admission during the seven days after patients who were not admitted left the ED. Leaving without being seen didn’t put patients at higher risk of short-term adverse effects. Read more.
