New abdominal surgical set clears FDA

On April 30, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that it is allowing marketing of the Percutaneous Surgical Set, the first instrument set that can be assembled and disassembled inside the body during surgery. The set is designed for use in minimally invasive abdominal surgery. Read more.
