New cardiac imaging technique holds promise

Combined 3D myocardial scar and coronary imaging to create a fused volumetric image display was found to be “clinically feasible and may be valuable for the planning of vascular-based interventions when regional myocardial scar is pertinent to therapeutic success” according to the Journal of American College of Cardiology Cardiovascular Imaging.
