New HHS funding program to help veterans with medical skills become nurses

On April 29, the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) announce a program designed to help military veterans with health care experience or training, such as medics, obtain a nursing degree. The Veterans’ Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program will fund up to nine cooperative agreements, of up to $350,000 a year. Read more.
