New survey on family caregivers released

The AARP Public Policy Institute and the United Hospital Fund have released the report “Home Alone: Family Caregivers Providing Complex Chronic Care,” a survey of 1,677 family caregivers. Almost half (46%) of family caregivers performed medical/nursing tasks for care recipients with multiple chronic physical and cognitive conditions. More than a third (38%) of caregivers wanted more training. Read more and download the report.
