The National Health Service Corps (NHSC), a federal program that helps nurse practitioners and certified nurse midwives deal with their student debt, while addressing the current shortage of primary care practitioners, has opened its 2011 loan repayment program.
The NHSC repays student loans in exchange for service in rural or urban communities with shortages of health care workers. Read more here and apply here.
