    This article focuses on employers and policymakers remaining vigilant regarding the future of nursing and the possible shortage.

    I concur that as the economy improves, a shortage will be reality once again if we do not hire new grads and incorporate them into the workforce.

    Salaries and benefits will play a key role as well as balance of work and life. The future is exciting but also in need of planning to assure we have RNs to care for the aging population.
