Study: Postmenopausal women benefit from smoking cessation even if they have diabetes

The study “Smoking Cessation, Weight Change and Coronary Heart Disease Among Postmenopausal Women With and Without Diabetes,” published the Journal of the American Medical Association, found that postmenopausal women who quit smoking reduced their risk of heart disease, regardless of whether they had diabetes.
