Study: Tamoxifen reduces future risk of breast cancer in women with genetic predisposition who have had a tumor

A study, published by the Journal of Clinical Oncology, of about 2,500 women has found that those who have inherited mutations in BRCA1 or BRCA2 genes and who have been diagnosed with breast cancer can lower their risk for developing a new breast cancer by taking tamoxifen.
