This sculptor creates with surgiucal drill and diamond burrs

This month, we feature the sculpture of Anthony Walker, RN, a nurse on the pediatric PICC line team at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

To create his artwork, he uses surgical drills and diamond burrs. “Nursing is truly my passion,” says Mr.Walker, “but I also feel lucky to have found a way to express myself with art. I want my art to inspire others to find the courage to begin their unique journey. My passion for working with stone has become a way of living and sharing with others. It reflects a striving for beauty, balance, and joy in self-expression.”
