USPSTF recommends against hormone replacement therapy in postmenopausal women to prevent chronic conditions

In a draft recommendation statement, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommends against the use of combined estrogen and progestin for the prevention of chronic conditions in postmenopausal women, stating that prevention benefits don’t outweigh the harms. Read more.
