Compared to Whites, Blacks had lower risk adjusted mortality rates for several medical conditions and for abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, according to a study in Ethnicity and Disease. Blacks had higher mortality rates for coronary artery bypass graft and craniotomy procedures. Read more.
